Behold Europe 2024
Our gathering Behold Europe for young European evangelists took place this 21-24 June 2024 in a beautiful place near the volcano Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland. About 75+ young evangelists gathered from 13 European countries (Armenia, Belgium, France, Georgia, Germany, Iceland, Italy, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK) and were inspired by the different speakers: Rico Tice, Hélder Favarin, Paul Schafer, Adrián Guillén, Dögg H Fossberg and Jamie Ochsner.
At every moment, down to the smallest detail, we were amazed at the presence and favour of God in this event. We are grateful to God for so many answered prayers, and grateful to the many who have been praying alongside us for Behold Europe. We trust His hand has been at work in more ways than we even realise! There was such a sweet and tangible presence of our Lord touching, motivating and changing the lives of these young evangelists. There were such unforgettable moments of prayer, preaching, teaching, fellowship and worship that one did not want it to end. After the conclusion of the conference, an optional excursion day was arranged giving participants the opportunity to visit some of the most impressive places in the region. This of course allowed the participants to create even more memories and build on the already established friendships that had been formed during the conference. What unforgettable and precious moments! |
“It was truly humbling to be among all who are already serving the Lord and to learn so many things and to learn how to be more effective to evangelise by the teachings received by spirit filled sessions. I am truly challenged by every sermon and been provoked by Gods word to live with integrity and preach the gospel.” (Emmanuel, UK participant) |
BEHOLD EUROPE 2024 Speakers
Rico Tice
Rico Tice is a passionate evangelist, and former Senior Minister of Evangelism at All Souls, Langham Place in London. Co-Founder of Christianity Explored Ministries, he is a regular speaker at missions and evangelistic events around the world, and is the author of two books about understanding the gospel and sharing it with others — Honest Evangelism and Capturing God. Rico’s life’s work is to inspire believers to share their faith in Jesus.
He joined All Souls in 1994, during the later years of the ministry of John Stott, with Richard Bewes as Rector, finding himself in his dream role focused on introducing the gospel to those who come through the doors of the central London church. After 28 years at All Souls, Rico joined Christianity Explored Ministries full time from September 2023. While at All Souls Rico developed the Christianity Explored course, which encourages Christians to open up the Gospel of Mark with their friends and allow Jesus to walk off its pages. Rico saw that Mark’s gospel clearly outlines Jesus’s “Identity, Mission and Call” providing a good understanding of what a life with Jesus looks like. In Rico’s words: “I want to spend the rest of my life quite simply helping as many people as possible meet the Lord Jesus as he walks off the pages of Mark’s gospel.” When not talking to people about Jesus, Rico loves to play and watch rugby. His other hobbies include playing golf and watching films. He’s married to Lucy and they have three young children. |
